Doloc Town puts you in the boots of a young scavenger trying to build a vertical farm in a wasteland ruled by extreme weather. Released on Aug 5, 2026 by developer RedSaw Games Studio and published by Logoi Games and Pathea Games, it blends adventure, simulation, RPG, and casual farming into one repeatable loop: gather, build, survive, expand.

Transform the climate, and remake the wasteland into your personal Eden.

Every run through the game follows the same core rhythm:

  • Scavenge the wasteland for scrap and reusable materials to fund your early farm.

  • Construct your farm one platform at a time, building upward instead of sprawling outward.

  • Survive the weather, since storms directly threaten your platforms and the crops on them.

  • Reinvest your earnings so the next cycle starts with a stronger, taller farm.

Tip

Keep your first few platforms compact and well reinforced. A small farm that survives the first storm beats a large one that collapses back to zero scrap.

Combat and exploration

Exploration is the reason you leave the safety of your farm. As a single-player adventure, Doloc Town sends you out to scavenge scrap, scout new ground, and haul resources back between farming cycles. There is no co-op or multiplayer, so every expedition is on you.

Combat in the wasteland rewards preparation over aggression. Keep your route short, know when to turn back, and treat extreme weather as a threat on the same level as any fight. The extreme weather is your constant opponent early on, and it decides which days are safe for long scavenging trips.

  • Scrap is the priority on every run; it feeds both construction and repairs.

  • Clear weather windows are for long expeditions, while rough days are best spent working the farm.

  • Controller support covers DualShock and DualSense, with partial controller support for other gamepads.

Before heading into the field, check the accessibility and comfort options.Camera comfort and color alternatives make the wasteland easier to read, custom volume controls help you track incoming weather by sound, and Playable without Timed Input removes pressure from timed moments entirely.

Note

If you prefer a relaxed pace, enable Playable without Timed Input in the options. You lose nothing important, and it makes exploration and storm preparation far more forgiving.

Progression systems

Doloc Town's progression is built around a clear arc:from scrap-gathering survivor to farming tycoon. Early on, you are scraping by with a handful of platforms. Later, your farm becomes a production engine capable of reshaping the world around it.

Progression flows through several connected systems:

  • Farm scale: every new platform adds growing space and storage, letting you support more complex layouts.

  • Survivability: better building choices and accumulated scrap let you endure stronger weather events.

  • Economy: income shifts from scavenged scrap to steady farm output as the tycoon side of the game takes over.

  • Climate transformation: the end goal is to change the wasteland's climate and turn it into a personal Eden.

Progress is recorded through Steam Achievements, and Steam Cloud keeps saves synced if you switch machines.Steam Workshop support means you can extend the gameplay loop with community content, and Steam Family Sharing lets others on your household play your copy. Since the game is single-player, all progression moves at your own pace.

Mid-game goals

Once you outgrow the scavenger stage, the question changes from "how do I survive?" to "how do I transform this wasteland?" The mid-game is the bridge between your first stable platforms and the climate-changing farm the game pushes you toward, and it is where most players either lock in their build order or stall.

A solid mid-game checklist looks like this:

  • Stabilize income so farming alone funds new platforms without constant scavenging trips.

  • Reinforce outer platforms so one extreme weather event cannot erase your production.

  • Stockpile scrap for emergency repairs and large construction pushes.

  • Push the climate goal by expanding what your farm produces and how it shapes the land.

Warning

The mid-game punishes overexpansion. Do not build platforms faster than you can reinforce them; a storm that hits an unprotected tower can undo hours of progress.

Keep building upward one platform at a time, keep scrap reserves healthy, and the wasteland around Doloc Town gradually starts looking like the Eden the game promises.
